One easy maintenance tip is to keep the power connection points free and clear of oil residue or particles. There are many faulty cartridges (1 out of 5 will fail) and they will leak.
Grab a cotton swab, lightly apply some rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) and gently clean the connection area.
